Ukrainian State-of-the-art Technologies Ltd. was established in November 2003.

The Company's principal area of expertise is in the provision of a comprehensive set of services related with cutting-edge innovative technology insertion into industrial operations in Ukraine. The innovative technologies have successfully passed through certification and have been inserted into industrial operations such as overhaul and modernization of aviation materiel and the design, development and manufacture of radio measuring devices for general and special applications as well as Computerized Process Control Systems for Ukraine's electric power system facilities.

Consortium more than 20 Ukrainian patents on inventions and useful models, the Company provides the registration and protection of innovative technology ownership rights. In such a case, new technologies as intellectual property assets are introduced into commerce of companies, thus positively contributing to their capitalization, which can be raised up to 100 %.

For determining companies' potential with regard to innovative product adoption, the Company supports related R&D projects and provides follow-on support services for the products being integrated into operational procedures.

Ukrainian State-of-the-Art Technologies, in close conjunction with a number of research organizations in Ukraine, has developed and turned into products some state-of-the-art innovative technology solutions allowing for more efficient use of companies' production capacities and increased manufacturing efficiency of innovative products.

Ukrainian State-of-the-Art Technologies Company employees assisted in the development of the high-performance technology 'Vodoley' ('water bearer'). Company's researchers and technicians, in a team with 'Ukrtransgas' company employees were awarded Ukraine's State Prize 2006 in Science and Engineering. Using the 'Vodoley' technology would allow for natural gas compression engine efficiency to be raised to 42% from 29%, thus increasing overall efficiency of all gas compressor plants in Ukraine's natural gas transit infrastructure, with potential cost advantages exceeding 8 billion hryvnias annually.
