New Innovation Technologies Ltd was established in November 2004.

New Innovation Technologies Ltd focuses on the development and practical implementation of innovative solutions, processes and technologies in various machine building and shipbuilding industry sectors, especially in the field of composite and reinforced ship construction.

New Innovation Technologies Ltd – working in close conjunction with researchers and engineers of top Ukrainian research universities in shipbuilding and reinforced concrete engineering, as well as the specialized design bureau and the producer factory - has created and brought to commercial maturity a range of advanced technical and technological solutions allowing the construction of composite and reinforced concrete ships to be advanced to a higher level of quality.

As a result of this collaborative effort, a building-block design for floating docks has been developed, standardization of dock building blocks carried out and a range of floating dock designs created based on existing projects. Floating docks built using this technology meet all the advanced requirements, and provide good performance and operational characteristics.

The developed construction technology for large-capacity composite floating docks has been patented and has no parallel in the world.

The team of authors of these technical solutions and know-how were awarded Ukraine's State Prize 2007 in science and engineering.

The Company's currently most promising business activity is the development and practical implementation of new technical solutions in the construction of floating hotels, offices and waterfront structures of various kinds.

The Company also deals with the development and practical implementation of new technologies and equipment for gas decontamination of coal mines (the 'Methane' Project), including the development of a new supersonic gas dynamic injector as well as vortex-type apparatus for the recovery of methane from ventilation airflows in coal mines. These technologies enable methane from ventilation airflows – which until recently has been injected into the atmosphere as part of ventilation air – to be recovered and concentrated using supersonic vortex-type injector devices not having rotating components. Using the recovered methane in cogeneration systems (turbine or gas and diesel cogeneration systems or conventional gas powered boiler units) in the hundreds of millions of cubic meters not only makes great economic sense but is highly beneficial for the environment as well. Until now, such methane together with air were let off. Cost advantages from using the given inventions in the coal industry can amount to the hundreds of millions of hryvnias, thus contributing substantially to commercial viability of coalmining companies.
